Devlog 10 - Polish week 2
Last week of polish.
This was our last official week of development for Detritus. We got a lot done this week, so let's jump right in.
Gameplay polish
A lot of small improvements and bug fixes were made this week. Balancing, an object pool for the enemies, fixed positions for items being held by the engineer are just some of them. We wanted to show off some of them.
The greatsword animation now gets dragged along the floor, instead of clipping through it!
We now have tool tips for some actions!
When getting hit, you'll get some juicy feedback.
Sound
A big focus this week was put on sound. We improved the sounds for enemies, tools, and the characters now have their own voice lines!
Art
Some particles got a nice upgrade, and a lot of new decoration got added. Carpets and drapes., arches, table and chair, skull and bones and more!
Spikes got the audiovisual upgrade they deserved.
Items that can be picked up, have outlines now so they're easier to spot!
